The rowan berries for this brand originate from rowan from the heights of Styrian pastures. Only berries of wild-growing plants are used, which are much more interesting for distilling than those of cultivated mountain ash. Although they bring much lower yield due to their much lower sugar content, they pass on the much more intensive, powerful aroma of bitter almonds and marzipan to the distillate. From austere spiciness and a subtle bitter almond tone, this brandy is therefore characterized, but also by its fine taste and long finish.
