A wonderful balsamic condiment made from fermented white Trebbiano grape must, which together with Montefeltro saffron ripens for 8 years in ash barrels. Montefeltro marks the border region between Tuscany, Emilia-Romana, Marche and San Marino - here the saffron is cultivated close to nature and harvested in small quantities. The Balsamo di Zafferano is straw-colored with fine red stripes of saffron. It smells full and intense and tastes balanced sweet and sour. Recommended for freshwater and marine fish as well as crustaceans and mussels, as well as caviar, fresh fruits, fruit salad, rice and pasta.
