The capers grow out of the center of the white flower. They don`t taste as intense as the caper buds, but they have a pleasant meatiness. These are marinated in extra virgin olive oil and are very suitable as an aperitif. You can also simply place them on a vitello tonnato or a salmon carpaccio or on a pizza with tuna, vegetables or ham. A real rarity with a perfect taste.
