Balsamic apple cider vinegar is made from highly aromatic apples of Old Styrian varieties such as Maschansker, Ilzer Weinler, Rosenapfel or Bohnapfel. The carefully pressed juice is boiled down using the traditional method and the vinegar is aged in small wooden barrels for at least eight years. Even after this long ripening period, the lively fruit flavor of the apples is still present, but elegantly condensed and integrated into a complex flavor ensemble. Harmonizes wonderfully with fruity olive oil, but also with steric pumpkin seed oil. Just a few drops of this precious essence gives savory dishes an elegant flavor. Excellent with terrines, brawn, cream cheese, salads, carpaccio and also cream desserts.
