Single Malt Whiskey Uerige Baas, 3 years, American Oak, 42.5% vol., Düsseldorf

Vanilla and light malt notes with floral, yeasty tones and fresh oak. Fine warming alcoholic note, long finish. The Uerige is one of the oldest inns in Düsseldorf. Beer has been brewed and bottled here for 152 years. The term Uerige goes back to the former Baas Rheinisch for boss and his constantly grumpy mood Rheinisch: uerig. The distillery was set up in 2008. Its size and features make it perfect for producing full-bodied yet mild distillates. The main part of the baas gains its unique taste in American oak barrels. The product range was expanded by storage in bourbon, sherry or port wine barrels.
