ABB mustard ...et Mostertpöttche. Aechte Düsseldorfer Mostert made Düsseldorf famous in Germany and neighboring countries as early as the 18th century for its particularly spicy and hot mustard. The Düsseldorf Mostert and its gray pot with the blue company logo, which includes the Düsseldorf anchor and the three letters ABB from the then company owner Adam Bernhard Bergrath, became a world-famous Düsseldorf specialty. Here you can see the ceramic pot. One of et Mostertpöttche`s greatest admirers was Vincent van Gogh. In 1884 he captured it in oil on canvas.
