Desietra caviar comes from the Desietra GmbH aquaculture facility in Fulda. Here the Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) is bred without the use of chemical or pharmaceutical additives and hormones. Caviar production takes place every 14 days and enables absolutely fresh caviar of consistently top quality all year round. Desietra Baeriskaya caviar is salted using a gentle process (Malossol) and offered without any preservatives or additives. It is borax-free and therefore not as sour as wild sturgeon caviar can be. With its mild, slightly nutty aroma, it comes very close to top Baerii quality (wild sturgeon).
