A lively, structured, tasty Blanc de Blancs. Aromas of fresh pear, flowers and apple dominate the nose. A youthful fruit with a well-integrated acidity. The notes of lemon zest and crisp white peach are typical of the elegantly sparkling champagne. Long, soft finish with salty, mineral accents, which speak for the terroir of Vertus. 92 Parker points, 91 points Wine Spectator. Times are changing, even in Champagne. The future there, as the present proves, belongs to high-quality winemaker champagnes and small champagne houses that have their own vineyards so that they are not completely dependent on their grape suppliers. One such impressive house is our new family business Champagne Veuve Fourny et Fils in the Premier Cru town of Vertus.
