Old time Bergpflaume Brand, barrel-stored, 44% vol., Scheibel

The Alte Zeit series includes the top products of the Scheibel distillery. The fires are elaborately distilled over wood fire and are characterized by a long maturation period. The yellow-fleshed plum ripens slowly and is harvested very late. Through constant, intensive testing Scheibel has found that at exactly 44% vol. the flavors of the distillate are best appreciated. The storage in small oak barrels gives the fire this beautiful, strong color. Beautiful mocha, vanilla and caramel tones, accompanied by a hint of marzipan. The light sweetness increases in the course and leads to a taste that does not want to end.
