White, Steel, Lugana DOC, Santa Sofia

Since 1967 there is the DOC region Lugana at the southern tip of Lake Garda, which lies on the border between the regions of Lombardy and Veneto. It is quite similar to a Soave and is vinified primarily from Trebbiano (di Soave). An elegant white wine with floral aromas and a touch mandeligen. The Lugana, in southern Germany in haute cuisine for years a household name, conquered more recently, the North and is no longer valid under wine lovers here too long as an insider tip.
