Not everywhere in Spain Tempranillo is grown. Only after a thorough study of the soil have Fadrique Marques de Valdueza and his oenologist made the selection of grape varieties to produce wines of the desired quality level. A splendid French coupage of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah is the result, half matured in steel and the other half in French oak. We liked the vintage wine from the vintage 2008 so much that we wanted to place it between our Italian wines. Velvety, the deep red Valdueza comes along, with spicy aromas of cassis and wild berries, without missing a certain freshness - and at an excellent price level!
