Leonardi - this name stands for exceptional quality at Aceto, due to the best, natural basic products and the greatest expertise and excellent craftsmanship in the production. Filled in beautiful, eye-catching bottles that reflect this special position of the product. The Leonardi family has also farmed the `Campi Macri` estate for four generations, and lends its hand to grape harvesting. Surrounded by 9 hectares of vineyards, the approximately 300-year-old Azienda of the Leonardi family is located 16 kilometers southwest of Modena. Since 1871, the Leonardi family specializes in the production of Aceto Balsamico. The estate is located in Campi Macri, famous for its fertility as early as Roman times. The estate has many historical tools such as old barrels bearing the seal of the Matilde of Canossa from the 12th century. Today Giovanni Leonardi manages the farm and the Acetaia with his son Francesco in the fourth generation. Between September and October, at a time when sugar and acidity balance, the grapes of the Lambrusco and Trebbiano vines are harvested by hand. Lambrusco has a strong, spicy character, Trebbiano adds sweet, delicate aromas.
