This light-colored sugar solution is an important raw material for the confectionery and jam industry, as well as for confectionery and for the manufacture of ice cream. 40D is the indication of the dextrose equivalent, i.e. this glucose syrup has about half the sweetening power of sugar. At the value of 60D we are at about 70%.
