The basis for the Olio Extra Vergine - Classic Blend are the olive varieties Frantoio, Peranzana, Coratina, Cima di Melfi, Nociara, Fs17, Nocellara, Maiatica and Kalamata. This yellow-green oil Cuvee is finely balanced between bitter and spicy notes, of medium fruitiness and with a lingering of ripe tomatoes and artichokes. The estate of Marina Colonna stretches over 320 hectares in the Molise region, which, like the neighboring regions of Abruzzo and Apulia, lies on the Adriatic coast. Over 25,000 olive trees are cultivated here as local and Italian varieties. The olive varieties are harvested separately at their best ripening time and gently processed into first-class olive oil within 12 hours.
