Like all beans from Central and South America, the beetle bean - also known as runner bean, runner bean, giant bean or rose bean - is now cultivated in Styria with great success. Bug beans are fabulous energy and fiber donors and are low in fat. With onions and Styrian pumpkin seed oil they complement each other to a real delicacy.
