This 63% white rum is a mix of three un-aged pot still rums and belongs to the Overproof category. The term overproof is used for spirits with a high alcohol content of over 50%. In Jamaica, about 90% of all rum sales are white overproof rum. Fragrance: Penetrating fragrance, as it is 100% pot still rum. It is dominated by banana with a nice counterbalance by other exotic fruits and freshly cut grass. Taste: Fruity and exotic taste with lots of power, supported by classic and grassy funky-Jamaican notes with a long overproof finish.
