Long pepper is known as Bengali, Balinese, Bar Pepper or Jaborandi pepper. He comes from India and Indonesia and was already appreciated in Roman cuisine. Its smell reminds of chilies and wood. With mild-warm sharpness, it goes well with spicy-sweet or sweet and sour compositions as well as with Asian and Indian dishes and also in spice mixtures.
