With the tiny, very aromatic celeriac seeds that taste slightly bitter, you can spice up numerous dishes. They serve as an ingredient in soups, sauces and stews, and are also great with bread and salty pastries. The celery seeds - which are called botanically correct celery fruits - can be used whole or in a mortar freshly pounded. The spice is easier to dose when you make your own celery salt from the ground celery seeds and natural sea or rock salt.
