DE-ÖKO-001 Strictly speaking, mulberries are not berries at all. Rather, they grow in nut fruit clusters on trees up to 25 meters high, which originally come from Asia. A distinction is made between black, red and white mulberries. They taste sweet to sour and spicy and spoil very quickly. Mulberries are therefore only traded fresh in the countries where they are grown. Like all dried fruits, dried mulberries can be used in a wide variety of ways, for example like raisins. The taste of dried mulberries is strongly reminiscent of the quality of wonderful honey. They`re not that extremely cute, though. A real treat as a snack.
