This is one of the smallest individual layers in the Nahe and it is located right next to the Karthauser. Weathered volcanic rock and iron ore infused clay shape the soil. In the sum of the circumstances, the lowest yields with the highest extract occur here regularly. A luscious fruit that is more and more reminiscent of mandarins as it ripens. A dense, elegant structure makes the Riesling wines unmistakably silky and yet exciting. Historically, the St. Remigiusberg leads us to the Benedictine monks who were active in Laubenheim at that time and reminds us of their abbot of Reims, who was canonized after his death.
