2010 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Spätlese, sweet, 7.5% vol., Grans-Fassian

The Piesporter Goldtröpfchen is a steep slope with a 60% slope, south-facing with a deep, gray-blue slate soil. The roots of the Riesling vines penetrate meters deep into the soil and the rock below and supply themselves with water and valuable minerals that give the wines their content and special expressiveness. The wines from this location are of high quality, especially in dry years, and have a long shelf life.
