ABB mustard ... et Mostertpöttche. Aechter Düsseldorfer Mostert made Düsseldorf famous in German and neighboring countries for its particularly spicy and hot mustard as early as the 18th century. The Düsseldorfer Mostert and its gray potty with the blue company logo, to which the Düsseldorfer Anker belongs and the three letters ABB from the company owner Adam Bernhard Bergrath, became a world-famous Düsseldorf specialty. Here you can see the ceramic potty. Vincent van Gogh was one of the greatest admirers of et Mostertpöttche. In 1884 he recorded it in oil on canvas.
