This pepper variant is produced exclusively in the western Spanish province of Extremadura (Ia Vra valley). Fully ripe large peppers are dried and smoked at the same time. A sweet and smoky pleasure with a good boost of spiciness! Use: Great for Mediterranean cuisine, fried potatoes, Spanish fries (Patatas Bravas) and white cabbage. It is also used in making chorizo.
