It all began with the renovation of Michaela Schaffrath`s small town house in Bremen, which she inherited from her grandmother Martha. Finally, the attic also had to be cleared out. Between old furniture, suitcases and boxes she found a yellowed piece of paper with faded handwriting: Grandma Martha`s egg liqueur recipe! This is how the vanilla egg was created. Now she has developed another variety with seductive marzipan. And she`s sure Grandma Martha would smile and hide the marzipan recipe in the attic too.
