Scent: This rum has to develop first. The first impression is reminiscent of nail polish and plastic, but wonderful aromas of figs and citrus fruits develop over time. Taste: Grassy notes with a hint of figs. A tart finish, but still very round in taste. SBS Australia 2007 is a single barrel bottling with only 323 bottles. The rum matured in ex-bourbon casks and was released in 2020 with a cask strength of 55.0% vol. bottled. As always, there is no cooling filtration.
