DE-ÖKO-001 The aromatic scented Schabzig clover, also called bread or cheese clover, is used in Switzerland as a spice for Schabziger, a very tangy hard cheese. In South Tyrol it is used as a typical bread spice, for example for Vintschgauer flatbreads and rye breads. Schabzigerkleekraut is only used dry for seasoning. In addition to savory pastries, there are also salads as well as dips and spreads made from cream cheese or quark and casseroles with cheese, egg and potatoes a wonderfully spicy note.
