The Abtsberg site is 14 hectares in size. The subsoil consists of blue Devonian slate, the round crest turns from south-east to south-west and reaches a slope of up to 70%. The Abtsberg wines are characterized by a finely structured, subtle minerality, racy acidity, lots of fruit, body and play. They are among the longest-lived Riesling wines in the region. The wines offered here come from a private cellar liquidation. They come from very good years and are in excellent condition. All the wines, starting with the Kabinett, are still incredibly fresh despite their age and are far from having reached the end of their shelf life. They are all very sought-after rarities that are difficult to find outside of auctions.
