DE-ÖKO-001 Before hemp fell into oblivion and disrepute, it was an integral part of the diet for many centuries. The seeds of industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa) are not to be confused with Indian hemp (Cannabis indica), whose THC content has an intoxicating effect. Hemp seeds are offered unpeeled or peeled and are used raw or roasted in bread, pastries, muesli or snacks. Hemp tastes tart, native and nutty. Unpeeled seeds have a nice crunchy bite.
