2 components to make solid silicone molds for food. Contents: Elastomer base 7003 and hardener. Application: Surface preparation: The surface of the original should be clean and free from dirt. If necessary and if the substrate is porous, treat with a suitable release agent. Mixing: In a clean container, pour 100g of component A and 10g of component B and mix until component B is fully incorporated into the base. It can be mixed by hand or with a mechanical shaker. Mix small amounts appropriately to ensure that components A and B are thoroughly mixed. It is important to ensure that the mixing temperature does not exceed +35°C. It is recommended to remove trapped air using a vacuum chamber. If you do not have a vacuum chamber, you can avoid air pockets by mixing a small amount of components A and B, which is then applied thinly (1-2 mm per application) to the original mold with a brush. Leave at room temperature until the surface has dried. Now mix another quantity of component A and component B and pour the mixture onto the original as quickly as possible to avoid air pockets. Leave to harden for 18-24 hours at an ambient temperature of +22°C - +24°C. The flexible rubber mold can now be easily removed from the original mold.
