Fruit brandy made from apples and pears. A sip is reminiscent of biting into a fruit you picked yourself from a tree in a green meadow. (For 0.5 l you need about 9.3 kg of fruit) The Ziegler distillery works with contract fruit growers. They guarantee the purchase of their products and control their cultivation. Only fully ripe, undamaged fruit from the best locations and growing areas in Europe is used for the brandies. Wild fruits such as wild cherries, wild sour cherries, wild mirabelle plums, wild quinces, zibarten (a wild plum), sloes and elderberries are given to the distillery by cone pickers who know exactly the locations of these wild trees and bushes. Until 2021 this product was only called fruit brandy. From 2022, the Ziegler brandies will only be filled in 0.5 l bottles.
