The leaves of many cactus species are edible once cooked. The peeled leaves (the thorns are cut off) can be bought fresh on the markets in Mexico. Our preserved products have been processed fresh from the harvest and are of the best quality. They belong in salads, tacos, enchiladas, chiles, burritos and tortilla wraps.
