Named after the former outpost of the monastery in Weißenburg, this south-sloping vineyard is situated on a large limestone outcrop with very little coverage of loamy-clayey topsoil. Further aging took place in small French oak barrels for 18 months. Fine, medium-strong ruby red. Scents of juniper berries, tobacco, wild berries, pepper and forest soil on the nose. Dense on the palate with strong substance and youthful tannins. Juicy with a very good length and the best structure. Great storage potential.
