Yakinori leaves are made from seaweed and are mostly used to make maki sushi. Rice and other flavor ingredients are rolled into the leaves. The long roll is then cut into pieces of equal size. Attention: Yakinori leaves should only be consumed in small quantities due to their high iodine content. (max. 3 sheets) Seaweed leaves are available in so-called half and whole sizes. The gold designation denotes their special quality; they are softer and suitable for quick consumption. They should not be left for more than 30 minutes before processing, otherwise they will become brittle and may crack.
