This premium sauce from Morita is simple but delicious! Made with Morita`s fantastic wooden shoyu barrel, the finest Japanese cane sugar and a rare, natural Japanese seasoning sauce (ajinohaha) that combines the umami of sake and the sweetness of mirin. Ryoutei/Kappa-style teriyaki is easy to make with this sauce. Teriyaki in these fine restaurants actually just glazes the fish or meat very delicately. It is not a solid sauce, as we often know from teriyaki. The taste of the sauce only gently emphasizes the natural taste of the basic ingredients. For - Teriyaki - - Sukiyaki - - Nikujaga - - BBQ - - Marinades - This sauce only develops its full, elegant taste when heated. If you want to use it as a sauce over sushi etc., we recommend briefly boiling the sauce to enjoy the true aroma. Morita Shoyu is a traditional brewery from the province of Shimane in the southwest of Japan`s main island of Honshu. Founded in 1903, Morita still brews only with regional Japanese basic ingredients and attaches great importance to sustainable quality and naturalness. You will notice that very quickly when you taste the unique taste of this product.
