Single malt whiskey Glenallachie 10 years PX, Moscatel and Ruby, 54.9%, Speyside

Billy Walker once again had the opportunity to demonstrate his great flair for barrels. The living legend sensitively selected and combined puncheons, barriques and pipes to create a new GlenAllachie whiskey blend. The Glenallachie 2012/2023, bottled exclusively for the German market, first matured in American white oak barrels. For added depth and complexity, Billy Walker selected a further three cask types with different characters. The sweetness of Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheons is married to the delicate, floral aromas of Moscatel Wine Barriques and the dark fruity, nutty notes of Ruby Port Pipes. The result: A lush single malt cuvee with flavors ranging from caramel sauce to plum jam to garden fruits. Distilled in 2012, bottled in 2023, matured in American Oak Barrels, Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry Puncheons, Moscatel Wine Barriques and Ruby Port Pipes.
