Single Malt Whiskey Duncan Taylor Laphroaig 2011-2022 54.4% ABV, Islay

From the renowned independent bottler Duncan Taylor. gold colored. Smoky, peaty and slightly medicinal on the nose, just as one loves a whiskey from this distillery. Dry peat smoke on the palate paired with a hint of sherry flavors of nuts and dried fruits. In the finish, the smoke lingers on the palate for an indefinitely long time. A fine sweetness accompanies the whole thing. This Laphroaig received a finish in the Oloroso Octave cask (approx. 50 liters). Specifications: Distilled 2011, Bottled 2022. Cask 5635155, only 89 bottles were produced! A real rarity.
