2022 Auxerrois estate wine, dry, 13% vol., wreath, organic

DE-ÖKO-022 According to the name, this white grape variety comes from the Auxerre area, just west of Chablis. Auxerrois is a white wine variety with little distribution and importance in France (Alsace), Luxembourg and Germany (Upper Moselle, Palatinate, Kraichgau). The Auxerrois grows near the Kranz winery partly at the foot of the Fürstenweg and partly on a south-facing Kalmit plateau with partly very calcareous soils. Delicately spicy, clear fruit, medium acidity, juicy wine.
