2013 Triumvirate Grande Cuvee, brut sparkling wine, 12.5% vol., Raumland

2013 was another high-quality vintage with rather low yields from the Burgundy grape varieties. One can almost speak of a picture book sparkling wine harvest this year: 100% of the best, ripe grapes and a golden autumn in September allowed us to pick our grapes for the triumvirate until September 10th and sometimes even until September 21st September could wait. Since the nights stayed cool, we achieved the desired higher acidity - ideal for sparkling wine. The result: a rather cooler fruit paired with restrained temperament and elegance. In any case, this triumvirate is characterized by longevity and great freshness, has the necessary fullness, but also the inner delicacy, countless nuances from green apple to candied apricot.
