The pappadums are made from lentil flour, rice flour, salt and vegetable oil. These Indian flatbreads are suitable for deep-frying, grilling or roasting.
Special Madras Pappadums. Urid flour, salt, raising agent (calcium carbonate), coconut oil, rice flour. Preparation: Carefully place a pappadum in hot oil and flatten with a spatula. The pappadum is fried within 3 seconds. Place on absorbent paper to drain excess oil. Fry on one side only. Store in a cool and dry place.
