This ancient salt is extracted from a salt lake on the edge of the Kalahari Desert, which is fed by an underground salt deposit that is 280 million years old. The sun-dried gourmet salt remains 100% natural without any anti-caking agents or additives. Kalahari salt has a pleasantly mild taste. The salt is coarse for the salt mill or fine for the salt shaker.
