The Camembert smells of milk and fresh mushrooms, its dough melts in your mouth and tastes minerally, strong and fresh at the same time. Depending on the region, cider goes well with Camembert, and in any case a mature, not too heavy red wine. Norman Camembert is softer and stronger than German industrial imitations. It can also be enjoyed with a quarky core (`moitie affine`). This AOP certified Camembert consists exclusively of fresh milk from Normandy.
