The Groix and Nature lobster rillettes are baked in the oven with fine spices and lightly salted. The special thing is the seasoning with the `Kari Gosse` spice mixture. Discovered in Lorient in the 19th century, Kari Gosse is a Breton curry powder characterized by its ocher yellow color and distinctive clove scent. This spice mixture is ideal in combination with lobster and other crustaceans. After baking in the oven, the lobster rillettes are refined a little with water, olive oil, cream, vegetables and some French spices. Excellent on a crispy baguette with a glass of champagne or light white wine, simply delicious. Groix and Nature is a family run canning company based on the Atlantic island of `Groix`. A wide variety of canned fish, rillettes, soups and specialties have been made there for 21 years.
