Champagne Roederer 2016 Vintage Rose Brut, 12.5% vol.

Salmon pink with shiny red reflections. Very intense color. Fine, exquisite, dynamic effervescence. A summery, fresh, wonderfully intense bouquet with notes of ripe, juicy yellow fruits (vineyard peaches), red, slightly sour berries (currants) and citrus fruits (blood oranges). After contact with air there are also notes of apricots from Roussillon, reminiscent of jam. The opening on the palate is flattering, juicy and concentrated. A saline, chalky freshness follows immediately and ensures exquisite suppleness. The aromas are reminiscent of ripe, crunchy fruit (vineyard peaches, nectarines) and citrus fruits (lemons), which give the wine a lemony, slightly bitter taste. The gentle, delicate effervescence is perfectly merged with a velvety soft texture. The extremely tasty, wonderfully long finish seems almost a little salty and wonderfully reflects the lime-rich, dry soils from which this champagne emerged, with a hint of tannins and bitter substances. It is characterized by a wonderful freshness, a wonderful balance and a great lightness. Velvety soft and salty.
