The Corton is the only Grand Cru location on the Cote de Beaune. It was Charlemagne`s favorite wine, which is why the white wines are also called Corton Charlemagne. The wine has a rich aroma of red and black fruits, is very mineral, spicy and has a nice oak note. Long on the palate with great structure. The wine matured in barriques for 14 months, 50% of which was first used.
