Harmonious relationship between fruit, acidity and minerality. Light butter and brioche aromas on the palate, good length on the palate, still has a lot of potential. . The Chablis terroir is characterized by a high proportion of Kimmeridge chalk in various forms, which gives the wines their enormous minerality and steely acidity and is also responsible for their long shelf life. The Moreau family settled in Chablis in 1814 and, with Louis Moreau, is the seventh generation to grow wine. After studying oenology at the University of Fresno in California and various positions at several Californian wineries, Louis returned to Chablis in the early 1990s to succeed his father. Today the domaine has 50 hectares of vineyards with many well-known Premier Crus and Grand Crus.
