The absolute top location among the 1st Crus. Power, depth, great minerality and a long shelf life characterize this wine. 93+ Parker points. The Chablis terroir is characterized by a high proportion of Kimmeridge chalk in various forms, which gives the wines their enormous minerality and steely acidity and is also responsible for their long shelf life. All of the winery`s efforts aim to express the subtle variations of the best individual vineyards. 40% of the 1st Cru is stored in used barriques for 12 months. William Fevre is the largest owner of Grand Cru in Chablis with 15% of the 100 hectares.
