The Cahors wine-growing region is located in the south of France and is known for its strong, spicy and deep dark Malbec wines. Unlike the base wine from Al Tuc, the Prestige is aged in wooden barrels. The dark berry fruits and black cherry aromas are in the foreground here, but are supported by gentle tones of vanilla. The 2019 was exceptionally made from 100% Malbec. Normally the Al Tuc wines still contain 30% Merlot, but the relatively accessible 2019 vintage allowed for single-varietal expansion.
