A pure Merlot that was aged in barriques for 18 months. Ruby red in color with beautiful reflections in the glass. The nose initially perceives notes of blackcurrants, plums, cherries, tomato greens, fennel, rhubarb and humus. Then balsamic notes and foliage. Notes of cherries predominate in the mouth. The tannins are powerful but silky and lead to a finish with herbs and earthy notes.
