2020 Les Amandiers, dry, 13.5% vol., Vieux Parc

A cuvee of Syrah, Merlot, Grenache. Aromas of cooked fruit and earthy components develop in the mouth, dense and well structured with soft tannins. With 13,000 hectares, the Corbieres is the largest sub-area in the Languedoc. The Panis family is now in its fifth generation running the winery and cultivates predominantly red grape varieties on 65 hectares of vineyards, 39 of which are in the AOC Corbieres. In addition to the classic southern French grape varieties, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are also grown on the clay, limestone and gravel soils. Wine is grown with great respect for nature and the vines; Chateau du Vieux Parc is a member of the Vitealys association, which is committed to natural wine growing.
