Powerful and very concentrated with aromas of truffle, licorice and sour cherries. Clear but not aggressive tannin structure. The 50-80 year old Syrah vines come from the Thalabert location, which is considered a premium location in Crozes Hermitage. Since the Thalabert is the Prestige Crozes Hermitage of the Paul Jaboulet Aine trading house, father and son Jaboulet forego the name and call the wine Nouvelere, which means something like new era in French. 93 Parker points.
